We’re not going to lie, we’ve taken May to wind down a little bit after all the excitement of our birthday, but we haven’t stopped plugging away for our clients – we’ve got a few very exciting photo shoots lined up soon in order bring some new brands to life and we can’t wait to see the results. Our hard work is paying off as we’ve been featured in the Top 35 Most Creative Companies in Wales courtesy of Wales Online, and have also made appearance in the Business Insider section of Cardiff Life Magazine, as well as having our website featured by Communication Arts as one of their Webpicks. Not too shabby!

After being shortlisted for the Cardiff Business Awards, Joe attended his interview with the judging panel and we’d like to think he totally SMASHED IT, but we’ll have to wait to until the actual awards evening to hear how well he did – nail biting stuff.

We’d never realised what an ardent group of travellers we were until May rolled around, with Alice travelling to Malaga, Abi to Lassithi, Owen to Santorini and Fran has been to Madrid and is now planning her tour around Cuba. Joe also got stuck on Caldey Island near Tenby and had to be brought home by a cargo boat, but that’s slightly less glamourous…

You may have heard that we’re on the look out for a talented Web Developer to join our team, and we’re really pumped about the thought of expanding the studio once again. Please check out the job advert and person spec here and share with anyone you think may be interested.

We’ve also got a Summer Graduate Placement up for grabs and have been receiving some really high quality applications – we’re don’t envy Joe having to pick to be honest. If you’re interested in the placement, then check out the requirements here and get in touch. It’s the perfect way to gain that all important agency experience and we’re on the hunt for someone with a great sense of humour and truly original ideas.

So now we’re well into June already and the stream of new projects doesn’t seem to be slowing – not that we want it to! We’ve just had one of our app projects approved and launched by the Appstore so we’re buzzing about that, plus it’s given James a hunger to get stuck in to more application based UI/UX work. Let’s see what’s round the corner!
