You’ve seen a sneak peek, but we wanted to share the process, DIY and story behind the new studio.
We decided to move out of The Maltings to a place with more room for expansion and somewhere we could put our own stamp on.
Mount Stuart House is located on Mount Stuart Square in Cardiff Bay, it was originally built for ship owners Cory & Sons, as their headquarters in 1898. The listed building means high ceilings, big windows and thanks to its location, a lush sea view!
Before we went in to redecorate we spent a couple of days going Pintrest crazy, luckily we all had the same picture in our mind. It took us 8 days of painting, cleaning and building in the 1600 sq. ft. but we got there.
When we found it, it looked like this:
