WCVA is the national membership body for voluntary organisations in Wales. They don’t just bring charities and voluntary organisations together, but inspire everyone to make a difference, build a better future and help improve wellbeing for all.
When they came to us, they knew they needed to shake up their brand – it lacked the passion and vitality so evident within the organisation.
They’d been thinking long and hard about their role to ensure that voluntary organisations in Wales are ready to tackle the challenges society faces. Soon, they realised that the only way they could make a bigger difference to the people in Wales, was to refresh their purpose and forge forward with a clear and unified vision.
It was time for a new chapter.
The rebrand was based on injecting a sense of confidence and energy into the organisation. It needed a more energetic lease of life whilst balancing authority and approachability. To do this, we created a bold and vibrant colour-set backed up with a custom designed icon set to really communicate the WCVA message.
The logo itself has been designed to be ‘breaking free’ from the normal restraints of typography, creating movement within the letterforms to represent the freedom and appetite for change within the sector.
Voluntary organisations in Wales change lives every day, and we need them now more than ever. WCVA’s new brand, website and focus is the call to arms they deserve – not only to bring charities and voluntary organisations together, but to inspire everyone to make a difference, build a better future and help improve wellbeing for all.
“Through our collective power, and driven by our shared ambition to improve people’s lives, we enable voluntary organisations in Wales to make a bigger difference together.” – WCVA
